IEA International Course on Epidemiologic Methods 2009

This is an introductory level course, but the participants will gain the maximum benefit from the course if they already have some experience of epidemiology and have already completed some form of introductory course. It will include lectures, computer-based analyses (using the Stata package), exercises, discussion sessions, and practical experience in the design of a research proposal. The course will be of interest to epidemiologists, public health professionals, statisticians, and clinicians. The course is only available to members of the International Epidemiology Association; non-members will be required to join the IEA before commencing the course.
